Emit is a versatile and intelligent power outage device designed to provide both convenience and safety during unexpected blackouts. Crafted in stainless steel, Emit is aesthetically pleasing and practical, suitable for placement on a desk or within the home.

It functions as a regular charging device for phones and other electronics. However, its distinguishing feature is its smart technology, which allows it to detect power outages, automatically activating a light beacon. Beyond mere illumination, Emit also serves as a generator, supplying power to essential devices during prolonged blackouts, while it communicates with the local power company to report outages and inquire about any needed emergency assistance.

I worked to creat a complete unified design system. At the core, a dynamic, set of concentric rectangles for the emit mark, capturing the cycles of energy and sense of protection. This symbol is not just a logomark; it is the essence of emit’s intelligence and reaction and transforms across various applications, from tech demos to diagrams.

This rebranding not only elevates emit in the market but aligns with their ambition to be the intelligent device that people can rely on, not be wary of, paving the way for their continued leadership and innovation in the field of technology.
